Don't like to see a player get injured but this was a move that should have been made prior to the tournament to get the younger players experience.
It is even more puzzling because it isn't like Borjan is a Davies or David level player. He may be better than what we have but is below the level of other keepers in CONCACAF.

Ike Ugbo has joined Cardiff City on loan from Troyes. Thank goodness. Hope he has a great year in the Championship and forces his way back into the mix. Last year was such a waste for him

Ahmed looks great. Oso with maybe the worst miss ever? Like in the history of the sport?
Actually it looked like it might be in. Barely.
Lol offside. C’mon Oso

IMO Ahmed is the one debutant who's impressed this tournament. There could be something in Bombito as well, but hasn't really shown it yet.

A decent half by most of the group. Herdman actually made an early sub, that was pretty shocking. Cavallini looks good, Ahmed is the standout player. McGraw looks real good out there. Big and physical.
Osorio though. Man. What a brutal giveaway to lead to the penalty

Crazy that the quiet 17 year old who was in the stands banging a drum with us during Cavalry's first game just made his national team debut. You love to see it.

I thought the game was on at 7 so missed most of it, disappointing as it seemed they finally showed up, but I assume the opposition had a lot to do with that.
Crazy that they could only finish 2nd but I guess it is good they avoided the embarrassment of missing out on the knock-out stages.

For those who watched, how did Loturi show?

Typical Loturi performance. Was all over the midfield, maybe deployed a little more centrally with Liam Fraser still on the field. Composed in positioning and passing, sprung Laryea with a nice through ball that almost led to a goal had Laryea been able to connect with Nelson.
90% passing, 1 long pass, 1 recovery, 1 foul.

Surprised to not see any comments about Jayden Nelson. Thought he really stood out for a 20 yr old and was impressive in his minutes. Brought alot of pace and energy to a team that plodded through the first two games which was a welcome sight, he didn't appear nervous in the moment at all either. Would like to see him get minutes vs the US and see if he can build off it.

The whole team really picked up once he subbed on for Bombito. Nelson was creating all over and causing fits.

Nelson's a good player who will struggle to get in simple because of the talent ahead of him on the depth chart. Think his move to Europe is going to do wonders for him though. Would prefer to see him on the wing over Millar against the US.
