Isn't the whole Hanifin trade request about him wanting to go back to the States? It's fun to fantasize but almost guaranteed he's got every Canadian team on his NTC.

I always wonder if guys strategically omit teams that would be an unlikely trade partner… for example, I would seriously doubt the flames would trade Hanifin to Edmonton so he could keep them off the list to open up another spot to include on the NTC list. Edmonton likely acts as an unofficial ninth NTC location in that scenario.

Guys, it’s extremely serious that every insider here is properly vetted and has a 100% accuracy rate. Allowing anything less would ruin the credibility of the forum, and, quite frankly, posts that don’t meet those requirements do not belong. I understand that we have high standards, but I would hate to think of what would happen if this forum was filled with a random, broad spectrum (and on the spectrum) collection of 40+ year old men posting their completely irrelevant and valueless opinions on a hockey team. Imagine if anyone could just post the dumbest idea that popped into their head with zero internal vetting and we all ended up discussing that? Sick, honestly. Just imagine it. Sick.
