We'll have to talk sometime about who you had blow it up and the $ involved. I'll probably do something similar with Gabriel's (my son) room someday.
That is the first "real" flames wallpaper I've ever made.
I just showed my wife, she is really impressed and said you are quite the Dad for doing that.

ya know, I am indebted to you for doing this! I thank you very much. when Pete told me that he wanted to be a goaltender, I knew that we had found our bond. making the NHL is not a realistic goal. I look at it this way, if hockey helps Pete with his education, then it will have all been worth.
Even if he only uses it to make friends when he is away going to school by playing recreational hockey, then its mission accomplished. If anything more comes out of it by way of scholarships and the like, the thats all gravy.
I read in a forum on the main board a while back about people putting their own names on jerseys and there were many naysayers speaking out againt it. I, for example, have my own name on the back of my Flames jersey. I know that I will always be a Flames fan and that the players will always interchange. In this way it allows me to connect to the team in a superficial way. Putting Pete's name on the back of Kippers image works very much the same way. We all know that its really Kipper but this way, Pete can be a part of the Flames in a very special way. And who knows, this may give him something to strive for and possibly give him some motivation to be the best he can be.
It is for this reason that I am indebted to you, my friend. I would not have been able to do what you did with this picture. I thank you for making my son scream out with joy. All I did was hang that picture up. We made a kid very happy yesterday. Thanks again.
