Especially excited about Hunt. That guy’s give a crap factor is through the roof. He’ll probably wear a letter for the Wranglers this year.

Poolman has turned into a steadying, veteran influence on the Wranglers.

If Pospisil can stay healthy, he still has NHL upside. He would look great in the bottom 6

Was Hunt the player who caught fire at the end of the season?

Yeah Flames traded Zohorna for Hunt and Hunt put up 15 pts in 17 games for the Wranglers.

Probably an easy sell to re-sign. He owns the house Weegar is/was renting.

https://calgarywranglers.com/calgary...two-way-deals/

All deals are 2 way. All are for NHL minimum salary ($775k) at NHL level.

Hunt is 2 year deal. The other two are 1 year deals.

That's exactly the kind of veteran presence you want on the Wranglers. Sure the coaches should tell the kids how it's done, but much better to have someone like Hunt show the kids how it's done.

I definitely noticed him in the playoffs. Had a really good motor and physical.

Absolutely. Leads by example.

Poolman, too. He was exactly what Poirier needed in the kid's rookie year. Poolman only had four penalties all season, finished +18.

We have a Poolman? I didnt even realize the Flames had a pool.

Make sure he gets all the leaves out so they dont clog the filter again.
