TSN's Mike Johnson is by far the best personality and most knowledgeable (or at least among them) in hockey media.

Dumba would be a good add if they trade Hanifin, and the contract isn't atrocious.

I've been dreaming of the Flames managing assets like this for years. Trade Hanifin for a decent set of futures before he walks for nothing, and replace with a somewhat comparable player (who wants to be here) via free agency if no prospects are quite ready to step up yet.

I wonder how close Poirier, Kuznetsov and Solovyov are to cracking the NHL roster.

Agreed. Conroy is after guys who WANT to be here. He also plays much bigger than Hanifin.
