Loved Lucic in his time here. Breath of fresh air, especially after Neal. All the best Looch.

Yeah that seems like what he wanted, especially hearing him talk about how the contract weighed on him heavily and he couldn't wait for it to end.

That's a great deal for the Bruins and a good retirement fairwell party for Looch!

As per sportsnet Lucic had more term and dollars from another original six team. I wonder if that was Treliving and Toronto

Good for him! Like I said, for that money I'd have had him back with the Flames.

Thats value Lucic, perfect money, good cap...

Anyhow, best of luck back in Beantown, it'll be interesting to see if they repeat their regular season powerhouse performance from last year.

Can't believe the Flams wouldn't sign him to that deal.

I would say most of the board speaks pretty highly of St. Louis, Torts, and Tampa overall as an organization, yeah.

It was in, though.

When I go on another team’s forum and take shots at a former well respected Lightning player I’ll let you know.

It appears Conroy wanted to go in a different direction and open up spots on the roster for young players and IMO it’s the right direction for this organization.

The only bad thing about Lucic was his contract.

His attitude, his play, his camaraderie, his toughness, his likeability in the room...his goddamned dapper style! All of that was great.

The only thing that sucked about Looch was the money.

On this contract?? Home. Goddamned. Run.

If he had said he'd stay in Calgary for a million bucks I wouldnt have let him out of the building until the ink on that contract was dry.

I mean he was a pretty ineffective 200 foot player by the end. Had some nice stretches of play, but he really struggled to keep up last year. Worked his tail off, but he just doesn't have it anymore.
