I would guess that 90% of twitter “users” are people that follow others and read tweets but rarely tweet themselves, like myself. Elon is cutting off the vast majority of users by going this route, and there’s no way that the majority of users are going to start paying to avoid it.

The most likely scenario here is Elon tried to implement something new, it failed spectacularly, the limits are a temporary cover while they work out the mess, and in a few days/weeks when the mess is fixed and everything reverts to how it was he will claim he "listened to the people", or some such nonsense.

I didn't threaten I did leave CP for awhile. That's the sensible thing to do when it's not fun anymore. I may do that again, in fact I may leave and never come back.

I'm so glad I never liked that guy, even back when everybody loved him. My ex used to tease me about it when it came up. I just always thought there was something off and weird about him, glad I was right...
