Hopefully none of the Alberta wildfires this season were arson. Some international fires set in the past.

Most of them are probably stupid people. Some idiot tossed a cigarette butt in front of me the other day. People are ####ing selfish morons.

I was watching a YouTube video and a recent massive wildfire in the Scottish highlands was caused by a couple with a one of these little foil tray bbq’s which blew away and started the fire. Millions of pounds spent and widespread devastation. Idiots.

Ya, when I was working around Hinton on ATV's we were always careful parking them and making sure it wasn't in dry grass.

I had words with a jackass who said: “I don’t care what they say. I’ll use my ATV if I want.”

It was at the height of the fires. I told him he’s a jackass. He didn’t take it well.

Do we have a general 2023 Wildfire thread? Because this one hits hard. I stayed in Lahaina earlier this year, and the people were amazing, the town was amazing. There are a lot of ancient forests in this area. It's being reported that much of the town has been destroyed. I'm devastated.
