Is it me or have all the speculated teams for hanifin been going in a different direction? This isn’t good . Flames need to trade him to a team that he would like to extend to for full value.

Whoever acquires him will be looking to sign him long term. There’s no reason to rush this.

I think the key is just to follow through at the TDL if he can’t get value this off-season. There’s only a worry of him overplaying his hand if he can’t do that.
