One wonders if he had issues years ago, couldn't have treatment, as was told to suck it up by the Oilers (like Smid and his neck), made it worse to this and now his career is very likely done.

Oh sheesh. He had double hip surgery once already while part of the Oilers.

They have to remove the 1980’s era hip replacement components and replace with modern technology. Also they can take the wristwatch out while they’re in there.

So out - Kostin, Bjustad, Yamamoto.
In - Connor Brown and Lane Anderson and whoever replaces the other forward
4.7 million to sign Bouchard and McLeod.
Not sure that is an improvement.

I feel the same way, but it did a really good job of describing their latest season.
The seat came up and the whole city thought they had already won the cup and then, *smash,* the entire seat came crashing down and ruined the PP they were so proud of. Now, that PP will only be a small memory shrouded by the money they owe to one of the Nurses.
Edmonton is no good.
