I'm sad they didn't take Fink or Levis though.

stock the cupboards with goalie prospects, stash a few in europe, wait for Markstrom's deal to expire and don't ever spend more than 5-7% of the cap on goaltending again.

They obviously scouted this kid and feel he has upside. Great scouting if he wasn't ranked anywhere. Russia is definitely the new Finland for goalies.
