Oh man, I love this pick. This kid will be a beast. ("Beast mode engage!" Haha). Mark my words.

Things I like about this pick:

- Has both legs (at this time)
- Uses skates for skating
- Plays hockey well
- Calgary Flames draft pick
- Is on Calgary Flames now
- Will play for the Calgary Flames
- Has a somewhat shiny car

There's other things I like too, I guess. But we will be very happy with this pick in a couple years. Maybe even now. I dunno.

Really feels like the flames were locked in on a forward with size and after Wood went Honzek was next on their board.

Feels like a big mistake to me with who was still available.

Not a fan of this pick but I can definitely see me being wrong. I see a high floor, low ceiling type of player here, which is not the direction I would have gone in a draft like this.
