Can we then flip Sanhiem for another first rounder?

I think Philly are tearing it down though so probably wouldn't want players back.

Philly is in hard rebuild. They're not trading down from 7.

Pretty sure the swap picks means Phillies 23rd and our 16th not their 7th

I would be furious if that happened. Don't trade down from 16. Not for Sanheim.

Really hope they are not looking at Sanheim, hard pass for me. 2nd pair defensive dman for 6.25 until he is 35 is a lot of money.

I love the idea of grabbing 13 and then moving down from 16 to 22 and adding sanheim.

If we do extend Lindholm, we would have four contracts that were locked up until guys are 37+.

Huberdeau
Kadri
Weegar
Possibly Lindholm

pens, crosby (37 when deal expires) letang (40) malkin (41)

2015-16 Red Wings

Datsyuk - signed until he turned 39
Zetterberg - signed until he turned 40
Franzen - signed until he turned 40
Kronwall - signed until he turned 38

2015-16 LA Kings

Brown - signed until he turned 37
Carter - signed until he turned 37
Gaborik - signed until he turned 38
Quick - signed at least until he turned 37

2015-16 San Jose Sharks

Thornton - signed until he turned 37
Marleau - signed until he turned 37
Ward - signed until he turned 37
Martin - signed until he turned 39

Oldest web archive of CapFriendly I found was for 15-16. These are three teams I guessed at before looking at their rosters.
