He doesn't. He would be a cap dump throw in.

Duclair has proven to be more than serviceable, but at 27 and basically a .5 pt per game player, if this is what the Flames pursue for Hanifin then they simply value security far more than winning organizations do. Decent wingers aren’t bringing much in return over the last 48 hours, and in my opinion Hanifin amounts to far more than “not much.” Hopefully this is simply smoke to polish some legit offers, but you don’t know until you do.

Potential Calgary Philly trade mentioned on SiriusXM NHL radio.

I hope Lundell is the main piece. But I doubt Florida wants to move him

Needs to be a lot more to have that deal make sense to me. Lundell is the dream but I don’t think that is going to happen.

Hopefully they have some other prospects but I am not familiar with their system

Some pf these cap dump players like Duclair and Sanheim would be serviceable players for us if the exodus happens and we’d get picks and prospects. Maybe these deals would be separate from the exodus deals?

Seems Flames want to do NJ style hockey deals for the pending FAs.

The trade has been made and registered for Buffalos 13 OA
It was put on the web by mistake and taken down because the NHL wants Gary to say "We have a trade to announce"

I don’t think he is going to Florida lol. Total click bait. The follow up tweet was that the Flames has better options.

I know it's not a popular opinion, but Sanheim actually has some pretty good analytics, and seems like a really good buy low candidate.

That was him the season before last:

If Duclair is the centre piece of a Hanifin deal, Conroy should just stay in Nashville and turn off the wifi on his phone.

He's not going to like the things said about him by Flames fans and media.

I am assuming in their full on rebuild mode they are not moving those picks.

I pray you're right. I don't see Florida being a good trade partner.

I don't think it's that complicated for the Flames.

Hanifin for: best player available from whichever team. If needed add picks, and/or take on bad contracts to even the ledger.

I doubt Florida wants to move anything of quality but you have to give to get.

It feels like an Hanifin trade’s going to happen right now just based on all this noise.
