Can we please stop making big deals with Florida as well.....not a single one has worked out to the degree they should have.

I'd keep Hanifin if all they could get was Duclair as the centrepiece out of principle lol. Do you think Hanifin is only worth a 3rd in a trade?

Suffice it then to say Lundell + Duclair + pick would be the appetite around here?

Did they just convince Conroy that Hanifin has less value than Duclair?
Even Zadorov for Duclair I feel like they should add

I don't know much about Lundell. Can someone explain the hype there?

It would have to be a future pick, they’ve got very little to offer in this year’s draft.
Flames can’t afford to not hit a home run with Hanafin and Lindholm.

Duclair's worth about a 3rd in this market and should absolutely not be the center piece of any Hanifin deal.
More importantly a single premium asset would be much preferable in a Hanifin trade than multiple mediocre pieces like Duclair. Quality always trumps quantity and i really hope the Flames don't insist on 2 or 3 pieces but rather focus on premium assets.

Wtf. If this is true than Conroy is just a puppet and we are once again going to swim in mediocrity

I could see Florida doing a salary retool
Hanafin plus vladar.
They trade knight and move on from him.

Lundell and Duclair could make sense.

I guess I'm thinking of what Zito would realistically offer given the current market.

21 year old center who's scored 77 points in his first 138 career games. He's about the only really valuable piece they have, so everybody wants him as part of any deal with Florida.

Top line center potential, bottoms out as a 2nd line C in my estimation.

He has been injured a fair bit, but he has played at a 56 pt pace for the past 4 seasons. And his cap hit is $3M for this season. That is worth a lot more than a 3rd round pick.

Move along…Duclair should be considered a throw in with any deal for Hanifin.

He had 44pts in 65 games on his first year as a 20 year old. He was also a +33. He's a great up and coming player. Had a bit less production last year, but he's going to be a good one.
