Buffalo should just acquire Hanifin and Tanev as a packaged deal. Roll with Dahlin / Power and Hanifin / Tanev since there’s already familiarity. Would do that for 13th OA and a top prospect not named Savoie (assuming they don’t part with him). Maybe Rosen? Also give Jokiharju too.

They actually likely have time to waste.
I'm sure they'd love to keep 13OA and trade other stuff for Hanifin.
Unless Calgary is getting a decent #1 pick in 2023, there have no real reason to trade Hanifin today.
Has Buffalo had a chance to talk contract with Hanifin? Maybe Hanifin has no interest in Buffalo? Maybe he wants to test UFA unless he gets a city he really likes.
There is a ton in play here.

Honestly if he's had that offer in his hands for a week and he hasn't taken it then it's time to sell him.

I agree partially, obviously there are no guns to anyones heads to get a deal done. I believe Hanifin has a strong market. Over a decade of failures and falling short yet again has put pressure in their front office to get them in the playoffs. Pick 13 is the price they should have to pay for a guy who solidifies their d core

8x9 is a bit much but not insane.
If he's asking for any more than that at this point I think it's time to move on. That should be best and final from the Flames.

Kulich, Ostlund, 13th ov
Buffalo has a great pipeline of prospects which makes them a great trading partner, but seems like the Flames aren't fully going that route
