This kid could be a breathe of fresh air also. Guys like him and Pelletier, Coronation and Dube can grow together. Positive thinking anyways.

Yep. Trade chips and draft capital.

Too good to be true IMO. There are multiple guys that will be available at 45 in this draft that have top line upside still.
Lets hope Colorado is that desperate.

Keep Zad long term if he’s reasonable.

Yes, Newhook returned a 1st, but it’s a very late first and Newhook was high pick himself who is 23 years old.
I believe the narrative is that players in their late twenties will have difficulty returning draft picks in the range up to, say, 20, in the 2023 draft. Teams will want to push these picks to 2024.
I guess we will see today.

Yup, I’m all about players who are excited to play here. And by all accounts so far, that’s the case with him.

I thought there was a Russian interview in which Zadorov said he preferred big American cities?
I would love to see the Flames get futures for Zadorov because I want a rebuild. Also, I find Zadorov inconsistent.

That would be a massively underwhelming return for Lindholm. Definitely not too good to be true.

How about just 27 & 31?
I'd do it

Trade him at deadline. With kylington taking a year off , he will really need Tanev to help him .

Gotta be a 85% chance he’ll be injured and untradeable.

Pretty interesting that Chicago won't re-sign him. Wonder if the club's relationship has soured with Seth as much as the media around the league has.

Friedman also on the 32T podcast:
Not sure how busy they will be for the rest of the week
Heard there is interest in Zadorov
Hanifin isn't imminent
Still trying to sign Lindholm
Conroy is not in a rush
Wouldn't be surprised if Chris Snow's analytics was the one pushing for Sharangovich

All the signs point towards the Flames trying to compete again this year. Let’s go Flames. I guess we just wish they can actually win in the playoffs with the retooled roster. I don’t like their chances against Vegas, Edmonton or Los Angeles.

I wonder if there is actually some interest in Jones, and this is Chicago's way of encouraging him to waive?
