A 2-year-old boy fatally shot his pregnant mother in Ohio

Police received a call just after 1 p.m. on June 16 from the 31-year-old mother, who said she was “shot in the back by her 2-year-old son,” according to a news release from the Norwalk Police Department.

The mother was transported to a medical center where an emergency C-section was performed. The unborn son was later pronounced dead, followed by the mother.

A Texas man in El Paso died days after being shot by his Uber passenger, who claimed to have incorrectly assumed she was being kidnapped and taken to Mexico.

Daniel Piedra, 52, had been on life support after being shot multiple times in the back of the head on 16 June. Doctors said he would never be able to come off life support, and his family made the decision to pull him off it on Wednesday, when he died.

Phoebe Copas, a Kentucky woman, is being held in the El Paso county jail on a count of murder in connection with Piedra’s slaying. She booked a ride on 16 June to a casino in the El Paso Mission area.

She allegedly saw a road sign for the Mexican city of Juárez during the ride, believed she was being kidnapped, and shot Piedra, according to the El Paso Times. “The investigation does not support that a kidnapping took place or that Piedra was veering from Copas’ destination,” El Paso police said in a statement. The incident also did not take place near a bridge or any port of entry to Mexico, authorities said.

This is a picturesque video for second amendment advocates, you know other than the gun wielder being Black. But he stopped the attack in its tracks and then lowered the gun when there was no longer a threat.

Kenneth Walker fought off plain clothed police who broke into his house without any real reason for Mr. Walker to believe they had lawful authority to do so even if he thought they were police. The police lied on the warrant and he was in no way involved in criminal activity so these were just a bunch of men breaking into his house and shooting at him. He lost his girlfriend in the attack.

He's the NRA and other Second Amendments Advocates' wet dream, the absolute prototypical reason for why they need guns; home invaders with guns and government tyranny in one, it's all they ever talk about.

He would have been paraded around by these guys (not that he would want it) as the next Messiah. There was just one problem though, a bit too much melanin.

Friend of mine in oil and gas moved from Calgary to Houston and worked there for many years. Now that he has a family him and his wife decided it wasn’t safe for their children to go to school in Texas. Took a big pay cut and sacrificed many benefits to come back to Calgary but is completely satisfied with his decision for his kids. The video above is the type of behaviour that really solidified their decision.

You're probably right, it's Texas, you don't need a permit to carry a gun and for the last few years you don't need a license to carry a handgun in public.


I'm ####ing shocked Texas is pretty much right in the middle of death rates by state, I thought it'd be #1 or #2 for sure.
