Toffoli at $2.125 (and paid even less in cash if they retain 50% of actual money) is such a bargain rental.

It should - since really he should come with a 1st even without full retention.

Goal scoring wasn't Seattle's biggest issue I don't think, and still a young franchise under Francis' watch. I can't see them parting with their 1st for Toffoli. IMO

If you need to eat salary coming back to get a higher 1st you can do that too.
You should be happy to pay out contracts if you're getting the magic beans for your next core in the process.
One thing Arizona did right. And they'll be picking like 18 times in this draft.

I'm crazy but I like 17 and a higher d prospect more than Zadina and 9th OA.
Edvinsson is perfect to replace Hanifin.

I think the Lindholm trade is sleeping here atm. They love the idea but Calgary's demand is firm. Do they get desperate.

If the Flames go full retention on Lindy, Hanifin and Toffoli, the returns should be in l8ne with fans lofty desires. Extensions negotiated or not.

Someone is going to lowball the new guy and hope he bites. Will be interesting to see if anything shakes out by the draft. Maybe Conroy starts with toffoli as a test run lol
