I liked the ending, they actually went somewhere with all of it in the end, where a lot of these shows throw out a great mystery premise at the start, basically answers all the questions with more questions year over year until the spiral down to a question nobody cares about anymore.

But if you're finding it a slog 5 episodes in, I'm not sure it will feel like less of a slog 2.5 seasons in.

The Righteous Gemstones just popped up again with little fanfare. There were already 2 episodes on Crave when I saw the new season had started.

The show actually reminds me very much of a goofy, low brow version of Succession.

I watched it when it came out and absolutely loved it. I think it really hits its stride in season 2. At the end of the day, its such a depressing show. I wonder if i could work my way to watching it again

From what I remember, season 1 of The Leftovers was uneven, but seasons 2 and 3 were phenomenal.

Season 3 of Warrior comes out June 29th on Crave- Just re-watched seasons 1 and 2 as I remember enjoying them but needed a refresh- Was great again- lots of action, great writing, and despite being about life in San Francisco in the late 1800s, a lot of the themes are relevant now.

What getback said.

The tone of S1 is a lot of deal with. To me it's like BEING in a depressive episode. Whereas 2 and 3 are interested in the same themes, but you're not in the same dark tonal place.

Cool, I stick with The Leftovers. The show has an incredibly deep cast.

Finally started Slow Horses. Really enjoying it so far. Gary Oldman is fantastic.

Fantastic series, my only gripe is it's too short! I wanted more episodes!

I liked Silo so much I bought the books after episode 6, cause i just don’t do cliffhangers in 2023.

Even better than the show so far.

Great call.

I barely remember them. Might just do a re-read.

Reminder!!! I know what I'll be watching tonight!

They dropped 2 episodes today.

One of my all-time favourite TV shows was Banshee, and Warrior is done by the same people, I thought Season 1 was a little touch and go, but Season 2 found its feet so I'm excited for Season 3.

Jonathan Tropper is a veritable Maestro when it comes to violence.

I'd give real money to see a team-up film Co-Written and Co-Directed by Jonathan Tropper and Chad Stahelski.

In regards to War tv series I really enjoyed Band of Brothers. Hands down the best.

Generation Kills was recommended here. I thought it was just ok. I did like the cast though.

If you are still looking for a tv series about war I would recommend
"Tour of Duty". It is a late 80's show about the Vietnam War. It lasted for three seasons. The show had a long list of special guests that went onto greater things years later.

Be warned though, it is the late 80's and politically correct it is not. Which makes me laugh because back then the swearing in a show was so mild, I mean "Damn" would be the most vulgar cuss word. Yet today dropping the F bomb on Star Trek is ok.

That said think of every racist word homophobe word etc, its in the show. They dont promote these words. Yet they are there.
