Why does Kevin Weekes insist on acting like it's amateur hour with all his tweets.

He's adding a little personality to his media.
It's cheesy but at least he's trying to do his own style.
Hockey has the most boring personalities of all sports, I don't mind someone trying to add a little flair, even if the delivery isn't my cup of tea.

It's not for the people that like his gimmick. It's for the free publicity and name recognition via vocal detractors.
Personally I prefer the amateur vibe over the serious newsroom vibe of most insiders.

Yeah! Give me bland, boring, direct tweets that are the exact same as every other hockey insider so as to make sure we can't tell the difference between any of them!

Horvat and Meier show exactly what the market value is for Lindholm.
If Lindholm doesn't want 8x8.5 then he can go.

This feels like a Skinner deal.

8x8.5 is equal to 7x9.7 on the open market. Lindholm will be lucky to get 7x8 as a UFA. We are in agreement, if he is not willing to sign a deal like this....in my view less (8x8 max), he can gtfo.

Yeah that terrible player who has 333 goals through his age 31 season
He’ll flirt with 500 in his career when it’s all said and done and everyone will be super shocked

I read he was like 1 of 4 players with 50 goals and 100 points over the last two seasons combined 5v5.
Joining McDavid, Draiselt and Pasternak.

Seems like too much for too long to me but I think that about most contracts.
Probably why most of the league is always capped out, even the mediocre teams.

They're both $8.5 million cap hits starting in a year when the cap is $83.5 million. Since Lindholm will be signing an extension that starts in 2024, when the cap should be 5% higher, should his cap hit also be 5% higher?
I'd guess that's the argument his agent is making.
