Yeah I guess it depends on the extension.

And if he gets injured. That's a big F. He needs to be traded before the season starts. His cap hit is low, or if need be flames can eat part of the salary to fit what a team needs.

In all likelihood they have Florida’s 1st, not ours.

Hopefully conroy can get a solid return. Toffoli is coming off a career year and is signed to a pretty good value contract for next year.

Been said, but he could get hurt or have a poor season. Have to trade him this summer.

The Wranglers are going to suck next year...because they're all going to be playing for the Flames.

The fact he has no trade protection wording it the way does seem like rubbing salt in the wounds

I think that is him being nice actually. He could basically say LA or bust and dampen the return.

So when there's a mass exodus of players wanting out and those same players did nothing to help their own cause but get a coach fired, have a GM resign so to speak who isn't he problem?

In my eyes it's good riddance. The remaining guys have a choice now. Recruit your buddies and get conversations started with Conroy about that or....it's time for a tire fire sale.

Man the optics of this look terribad!!! This is almost as bad as the Bill Peter's fiasco.

I don't know how I cheer for this team anymore. It's a bunch of coach killing , backstabbing disloyal whiners who think winning should just be about them individually.

How the hell do you expect to win with this mentality?? Wow!!! I sure as HELL wouldn't want to be Conroy, Iginla , Nonis and crew ....what a mucking fess.

Tear this mother DOWN!!!! Scorched earth. Don't even do an autopsy just burn it down.

Huska better make damn sure he has 100% support and wear a bullet proof vest , have bodyguards and be ready to be assassinated.

Go FLAMES Go????? Lol...

It was awesome

I walked to the dome mid first period one night. No scalpers. No ticket takers

We walked in, walked through the concourse and looked through the walkways across the dome to see the corner sections were empty, made note of the section number and sat there

Free NHL hockey!

The financials played a big part in how bad that era was

But yes if we blow top 6 picks the same way we did over those years it will be long and painful

I don't agree. We're losing the players who worked their butts off, The players who failed us were supposed to be the solution last year. How can you fault the guys who want out for salary or a championship. I'll miss them and good luck.
