Default Custom Car Audio

Since CP is a vast resource of knowledge...

Anyone have any recommendations for a place that offers custom car audio stuff? I'm particularly looking for a custom sub enclosure but am hoping to get everything done (speakers, install, etc.) all at the same place.

Thanks guys.

It's Soundsaround, and yes, their NE location is on 32nd Ave.

Have you tried looking at Audio Concepts? I would think their installs are a lot better than Soundsaround. Their work is pretty crappy, if you ask me.

Hmm I can't say I've looked at Audio Concepts...if you don't mind me asking what went wrong with Soundsaround?

I have an aftermarket deck, but that's it.

I had a friend that used to work for Audio Concepts, and they did great work. I used to install my own setups in my car, but when I got a new car I felt lazy, so I got my buddy to do it for me. They did awesome work and I was very impressed. That was a few years ago, and my friend doesn't work there anymore. So I'm not sure if they still have the same standard. I can say when I was a customer there, it was very good.

If you need to know more about setups and stuff, I'm sure they can help you. I would avoid places like Future Shop, Bestbuy, and similar stores (i would only buy the required stuff from them, and even that I usually go somewhere else) Definitely go to specialty stores.

I got my subs installed at Soundsaround several years ago and I thought they did a great job. I had a beef with how they handled a defective deck which was covered under their warranty, but that's a different issue. As far as install is concerned, no complaints.
