I'm curious which film do you think is better, Batman 89 or Returns?

Doing all of these cameos and then not doing Vincent Chase Adrian Grenier as Aquaman seems like such a miss.

Then again, I thought that of Morbius from the trailer and that movie sucked out loud.

The Kraven poster looks like the cover to one of the fantasy romance novels my wife reads.

One thing I will say is that this looks very violent. Throwing a bear trap on a guys head? This movie has a massive budget and is almost assuredly getting an R rating. Pretty big gamble.

I laughed out loud several times in that trailer. Was I supposed to? Is this a comedy like Punisher War Zone? Based on the tone of the trailer, it didn’t feel like I should be laughing.
But overall, wow, that looks ridiculously bad.

I think WB needs to sell DC or DC needs to form its own studio. First they cancelled Batgirl, despite having Brendan Fraser in it after winning an Oscar and Batgirl being a super popular character. Then they release two DC movies that both bombed hard despite being decent films, it's pretty clear they have no clue what to do. The really annoying thing is that now Flash and Green Lantern both have terrible public perception. It's been over 10 years since GL and we still haven't gotten him in any other movie since. We should have had this epic space trilogy by now ending with a giant yellow lantern vs green lantern battle.

Is she though?
WB/Disco is an absolute mess at the moment.
And I think that by appoint Gunn & Co. they're trying to separate the DCEU from the rest of WB...but its not going well thus far.
What was the stat? Flash only made $1M than 'Batman Forever' in the same time frame, and thats only if you dont adjust Batman's Box Office take for inflation? Which makes things look reall grim for the Flash.
Granted, I am willing to concede, you cant really know if your star actor is going to spontaneously turn into a maniacal lunatic...thats a wrench in the works and not the studio's fault.
Speaking of maniacal lunatics...remember the original Batgirl? Ruby Rose? Yeah...she as reportedly a crazy person and lo and behold, has she been exactly drowning in work lately?

That Kraven trailer doesn't look great. The tease at the end was cool I guess.
I still haven't seen Morbius, not sure I'll watch this one either.

I would think in terms of general appeal, Batgirl (and for that matter Robin) would be at least as recognizable as say Ant-Man or Captain Marvel and they are in multiple movies. Even if it made $0 would have still lost less than the Flash

That was the point though.
These big companies, they write everything off...

Secret Invasion ep1 was pretty dull. I find these Marvel TV shows have an annoying tendency to be written like a movie but with a lot of extra dead space to fill out six hours of TV runtime.
Dunno who wrote this one but some of the dialogue was just startlingly out of place.

Apparently Disney decided to use AI to generate the opening credits to Secret Invasion. Terrible decision on their part, it's not like Disney doesn't have an army of artists to use or anything.
This #### looks awful

AI isn't in the animation guild.

I think the AI art is actually a solid artistic decision, it illustrates a distorted revision of our world through an alien viewpoint. It'll probably age horribly, but will still work as a zeitgeist moment.

There isn’t an Animation guild, that’s one of the major problems.
