Grusch's claims line up with Bob Lazar's, whose earlier claims overlap with DG's on many points, including the number of alleged craft. And he's been talking about this since the late 80s.
I'm not a big Joe Rogan person, but his interview with Lazar was utterly fascinating, and at no point did he come across like a guy who was fabricating a story or giving inconsistencies or backtracking. He was concise and intelligible recalling these supposed experiences just like you or I would recollect something that really happened.
Grusch's mannerisms in the interview by comparison were a bit suspect since he didn't answer some of the key questions directly, but danced around a yes or no several times, and appeared both animated and rehearsed at times. It was a different vibe from Lazar, and yet there are a lot of consistencies between their claims, which is what's most interesting to me.
The more accounts that come out from govt connected people that are saying more or less the same thing, the more likely it appears that there is something there. Maybe it's not alien craft, but clearly some UAP materials are being studied in a facility somewhere. I just think it's a game of telephone where the truth is being stretched a bit between people who've seen evidence and the people who are bringing claims to the public.
I also think there are efforts being made behind the scenes to discredit people who talk about what they've heard or seen and muddy the believability of their claims. It would be really easy to sabotage these individuals from the inside. You just to feed the public a story that makes them out to potentially be a loonie toon, and most will latch on to that to discredit them simply because it's a much easier explanation to digest.
I certainly am not buying into anything until there's irrefutable evidence, but nevertheless this whole UAP movement and the information trickling out and the debate around that is undeniably fascinating.

NASA is studying more than 800 sightings of unidentified objects in our sky as part of its investigation into the UFO phenomenon. We get an update on the agency’s study in a conversation with a member of the NASA UAP panel.
We also hear why the belief that aliens exist has broad consensus, but that’s not the same as saying they routinely visit Earth. Plus, a UFO investigator analyzes the startling claim that the military is hiding evidence of alien technology.

Man says 1973 UFO 'abduction' incident turned life upside down
Quote:
But Calvin Parker Jr., the other man present for one of the most high-profile UFO cases in American history, has never come to terms with what he still says was a visit with gray, crab-clawed creatures from somewhere else. He says the encounter on Oct. 11, 1973, turned his life upside down.
"This is something I really didn't want to happen," Parker told The Associated Press as the 40th anniversary of the encounter approached.
Parker was unnerved by initial crush of unwelcome attention, with newsmen and UFO enthusiasts overrunning Walker Shipyard, where he and Hickson worked. He tried to dodge the spotlight for decades, moving frequently before returning to Mississippi's Gulf Coast in recent years.
|
Quote:
At the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, deputies initially suspected both men were drunk. Then-Capt. Glenn Ryder, who still works for the sheriff's office, said he laughed at the report, but met with the men. Parker and Hickson stuck to their story.
After the formal interview, deputies left Hickson and Parker together in a room with a hidden tape recorder, hoping to catch them in a lie.
"Me and the other investigator got up and left to let them talk, to see if they were going to say, 'Well, we got them fooled,' but they didn't," Ryder said. "They were really concerned."
On the tape, Hickson tells Parker, "It scared me to death too, son. You can't get over it in a lifetime. Jesus Christ have mercy."
"I don't know what happened to them," Ryder said. "I wasn't there with them, but I know you don't fake fear, and they were fearful. They were fearful."
The next afternoon, the story was splashed across the front pages of newspapers in Pascagoula and Gulfport. Overnight, Pascagoula became a magnet for news reporters and UFO investigators.
|
Quote:
Parker said the intrusions by curiosity seekers have become less frequent over the years, but have never really let up. "You don't never have no privacy," he said.
Parker married later in 1973 and eventually took oil industry and out-of-state construction jobs to escape the attention.
"By the time you get somewhere and they figure out who you were, I'd just go," he said. "I'd just go find another job somewhere."

Regardless of people's positions on this topic (and all positions are absolutely welcome), the last six years, and specifically the last year, have been super fascinating to follow. There's been now so much smoke here to the point that Congress is now taking this topic seriously and real laws are being enacted because of it. I also foresee more news and developments coming out on this topic in the coming months/years. Personally, I am of the opinion that something is definitely happening; whatever it is, it's absolutely fun and interesting to keep a pulse on right now.

Something really strange is happening. Whatever it is and whatever side one might be on, this topic is really going to escalate. Fascinating to ponder what it might be but scary to consider it could just be one huge psyop (I don’t personally believe it is, but it could be)

The whole interdimensional / multi-dimensional discussion is what interests me the most, too. The conversation has now moved past 'little green men' and 'flying saucers' to something much more complex and scientifically fascinating, if true.

Yeah, there is that conversation about how the UAPs' impossible movements from water to air and blistering alterations in speed and direction where inertia doesn't appear to apply may be explained by the objects not actually being part of the 3D here with us but a greater dimension where they're able to traverse space & time differently.
And even if that's not the case and it's some kind of projection or illusion, it's still an exciting new thread for us to follow in furthering our knowledge of the universe.
Whether phenomenon or straight up E.T.s it's fascinating and finally getting the expert attention it deserves.
If these encounters are myths, let's bust them. It's way better than outright dismissing them as just hokey delusions.
95% of encounters are said explainable but that 5% ought to be investigated properly and brought forth to the broader science community.

This is a fun read, guy says he's part of a recovery/research group and has liver cancer so he's not interested in keeping it a secret anymore.
Enjoy!

Well, it's a good thing we have progressed from the realm of wild speculation to one grounded in reality.

Fun, as in "here's how I'd answer questions like this if I worked for a super secret org investigating aliens".

The discussion has never been about "little green men" or "flying saucers" except for the mouth breathing idiots out there. The discussion has always been about advanced technologies and intelligences greater than ours being behind the phenomena. Full stop. The problem is as soon as you start discussing those potential intelligences, and identifying them as "alien", the mouth breathers jump to Marvin the Martian, rather than acknowledging anything beyond our anthropomorphic projection of our limited understanding of the universe and the reality we exist would be considered "alien."

Because discussing the physical universe and our limited understanding of it is crazy, and moving to the discussion of strictly theoretical concepts like interdimension/multidimension worlds, is much more grounded in reality? Alrighty then.
Eliminating the dimension or physicality from the discussion we still come back to an intelligence beyond our own being behind this phenomena. So the "little green men" are ironically still firmly in the middle of the discussion.

Are those the only 2 options? Because that feels like you are saying the only explanations for lightning are either Zeus or Thor.

What two options are you referring to? I didn't reference options at all. But nice attempt to build a strawman.

Regardless of your snide retort, the possibility to discuss and consider something more scientifically complex than what we believe to understand, even if we don't have all the answers right now, is exciting.

The part where you say "we still come back to an intelligence beyond our own being behind this phenomena." You are starting with an unfounded conclusion. I could just as easily argue it is God behind it, with as much convincing evidence.

That's not two options. That's a singular conclusion.
You could say God is behind it, if that's what lets you sleep at night, but that would still be considered an intelligence beyond our own. Again, whether they be from this universe, another universe, this dimension, another dimension, or from the oceans of this planet they are controlled by an intelligence beyond our own. They perform maneuvers that defy the laws of physics as we understand them (we probably have a toddler's grasp on the rules of the physical universe) which means they are the product of an intelligence beyond our own. How is this difficult for you to understand and admit?
