Eichel and Stone should have both been Flames and here they are scoring the game winer and the insurance goal in the final game of the playoffs. So close and yet so far.

Stone was never going to be a Flame, and that second goal was Hague. And it’s the first period.

There's definitely been some questionable calls, but at the same time, Florida hasn't looked good at any point so far in the series.
Even without the questionable calls, I'm skeptical the results would be any different at this point.

They changed that rule years ago.

"Continuation of the play", allowing the ref to determine if a whistle was blown prematurely if the shot is made for a goal and the whistle didn't have time to impact the play (IE: players stop moving or digging for a puck).

Hanifin scored a goal this season that applied:

Man, Barkov is just not a true elite #1 C. He's been very average these past two playoffs.

Well it also helps that Vegas got to add a 9.5M star player over the cap as he miraculously made a recovery for game 1. The whole thing just stinks. Sure, Vegas will get their Cup but everyone not a Vegas fan will look at it the same way as TB's, sure you win but you had to fudge the rules to do it so not really.

Most casual fans don't even pay attention to the cap, so nobody really cares or will know.

I don't disagree.
I hate the Knights.

I just think the Panthers have looked pretty terrible all series long. It sucks, because they were the most fun team to watch in the first 3 rounds.

If you aren’t bending the CBA/Salary Cap to your advantage then are you even trying?

Most owners don’t like the cost of winning.

Maybe as a rental? And who knows maybe he would have signed following a deep run. He would have been on a team with a Johnny and Chucky. You never know.

Tre was in on both Stone and Eichel.

The roster they dressed tonight costs $81M including Quick as a back up.

So really they are technically under the cap.

That was definitely a no goal to me. Bob had it covered long enough and it was poked out from his cover. But Vegas is also by far the better team.
 Both are true.

Panthers can't get in front of the net at all, story of the series so far. Nothing available. Kudos to Vegas. And now guys missing and banged I don't think the Cats have enough in the tank to make a comeback.

Not sure how the ref neither saw that it was covered, nor lost sight of the puck.

Nor intended to blow the whistle immediately prior to blowing the whistle, as we know a goal can be waved off for intent to blow the whistle

Tough to beat two teams, one in gold, one in stripes

The puck was loose the entire time, not sure what all the caterwauling is about. The whistle was not blown.
Florida had a good first 5 minutes and then kept turning it over at the offensive blue line. Couple really good saves by Hill, who I must say deserves credit in this game so far.
