Unsung hero: Thomas Hatch. 3 Ks in an inning and a third.

Nice to win a rare game where Gausman isn't his usual self.

So we lost a game we should have won and won a game we should have lost which leads us to the tiebreaker being the first game. We had a great chance there but hitters didn’t pull through. Nice to wina game finally where our pitchers gave up more than 3 runs. We really need this team to situationally perform on the hitting side a bit better. We’re putting a ton of pressure on our pitchers to be perfect all the time.

I’d take the French commentary over Devlin

This is some Jack Michaels type professionalism on this call.

Nah, Jack Michaels would have accused Biggio of being a cheater, whined that the umpire has it out for the twins and then talked about the home run horn being classless.
Jack Michaels is clown shoes.

Looks like Jays fans are out in full force with all-star voting. Vlad, Bo, and Chappy all leading their respective positions. And a nice little surprise in the NL with Lourdes the leading vote getter at LF. So happy for him. He was never going to be a true star on the Jays but has a real opportunity with the D-Backs. Professional hitter through and through.

You know, the schedule has been pretty darn brutal so far for the Jays, and now 3 against the O's and 3 against the Rangers....

Then you see next up is Miami and Oakland and think that'll be a bit lighter competition. Then you look and see that Miami is 8-2 in their last 10 and as hot as they've been all season and that Oakland has currently won 6 in row lol

Can't make this stuff up....

Same thing as last year. Jays had one series against the Os, who were an absolute joke to start the season, in the first half. Then when the Os went on the absolute tear, the Jays had four series.

Jansen and Kiermaier are back in the starting lineup tonight, Kirk DHing. Belt is not listed on the bench.

Didn't realize Aaron Hicks landed with the Orioles. That sucks. Dude's career has been based on killing the Jays.

Bassitt just sat him down pretty quickly though. That was neat.

Jays 1-8 RISP already tonight.

Runners on first and second nobody out with your 3-4 hitters coming up and they don't even move an inch. So bloody frustrating.

Oh look. The Jays can’t get hits with RISP. In related news. Water is wet.
