Hill has been good but they were, what, 5-2 with Brossoit? That paddle save in Game 1 was amazing though, probably the highlight of the Finals for me.

Having dealt with injuries to both of my shoulders in the past 3 years (one is current), I'm confident it's Tkachuk's shoulder that is his issue. My wife even pointed out that he moves the same way I do when I trigger pain.

Yes, you mentioned that.
Just repeating what the guys on NHL radio said, I wasn't in the room myself.

Wow. That is huge if true.
They showed the trainers working on his shoulder and talking to him about it right after the hit. I have a hard time believing it is anything other than his shoulder.

That really sucks for the Panthers. Second time he's been unfortunate enough to get injured in the playoffs, rendering him unable to contribute.

It was 1-1, but Broissoit looked to be falling apart and couldn't hang with the Oilers offense. Hill came in and gave them solidity in net. That swung the series.

Chucky looked like he did when we lost last year. He dropped his shoulder quite a bit, last year they said it was his hand.

That was ugly by Lundell, did he even get a shot on net?

Why isn’t this game on ABC? Is ESPN a bigger draw?
NBC would have carried all games.
When the Flames last played for the cup the games were on ABC.

NBC didn’t carry weekday games. Only weekend matinees. Rest were on nbc sports.

I was wondering this as well since none of the finals have been on ESPN/ABC. All games have been on Turner networks (TNT/TBS).
Apparently the 7 year deal with ESPN and Turner is for the two to alternate year to year broadcasting the Finals. This year is Turner’s year to get the Cup finals.
