I personally can’t wait for the day(s) when Drysaddle and Mavi walk. Part of what makes it beautiful is that there is no way the Coil will be proactive enough to move them because why possibly wouldn’t they want to sign in Greaseville. Will send that tire fire back into darkness for decades.
Oh and now apparently the Oilers are going after Konecny……. Never seen such a clueless group of fans or media. They have no picks, no prospects, and no cap space…….. so yeah they are all in on Konecny. Ridiculous

Don't see it in this thread yet but the preferred home builder of the Edmonton Oilers currently has a set of Civil suits against them for a toxic workplace that has allowed for a culture of harassment against female employees. 5 women in total with two of them being directly abused by one of the partners of the company. The other three have suits around their dismissal for bringing up concerns for this guy not being suspended from the work place. With 5 suits for over 6 million against the company...he's now on temporary leave I think***edit after a week of bad publicity...they announced later on Friday that this guy is no longer with the company..
Seems like the type of guy Katz would get along with. Two creeps in a pod. The guy in question looks very much like a Harvey Weinstein type too. Oilers claim to be monitoring the situation but to my knowledge have yet to end this sponsorship. Granted 6 months from now this company might be out of business.

last night i had my men's hockey team over for our season wind up party
i had moved a tv outside so we could have game 4 of the final on while we had dinner. with the game ending around 7:30 i had something planned for all the oiler fans on my team.... i had pvr-ed the oil/vegas elimination re-cap game! ha!
i fired that game up right away and the reaction was pretty funny. the one guy was chirping me pretty good and then i asked him, "if the rolls were reversed you would have done the exact same thing right?!?!" he thought for a second, started laughing and said, "absolutely!" ha! ha!

One of my buddies was in town with his kid. They came over to watch the game on Saturday night and once I learned the kid was an Oilers fan I made him watch the game outside from the deck peaking into the living room.......for about two minutes. He took it well like he knew he was no good for supporting that team.

They think any good player on the block wants to go to Edmonton, or that Edmonton has the will power, cap flexibility, and top notch assets to acquire said player.

Also for the record Commonwealth is potentially in the most run down/ sketchy/ poor area of Edmonton possible. it's literally in a #### hole and is a #### hole. Edmonton can be nice in very select and limited ways. Nothing about Commonwealth lends itself to that.
