I'm not even a big Tkachuk fan, but it's hard not to admire what he's done in these playoffs. Seeing a young guy rise up like that for his team is a great example of sports excellence.
|
Oh sure, a large part of his performce problems mid game were from the hit (and regular season he's probably taking the rest of the night off).
I have zero idea how he's left alone in these situations, just like in Carolina.

Justin Williams also comes to mind as a guy who often stepped up in big moments. He did it in more than one playoffs too. I recall him being Mr. Clutch for both the Canes and Kings in their Cup wins.

Justin Williams is another great name in the conversation. I wonder where he would fit on that chart.

based on what exactly...maybe historically but based on the play so far I think Vegas winning the next two is a bit more likely than that

The simulation is out of 1000
so they are saying the Knights win 740 times or whatever in that scenario
still 260 Panthers wins in there so its pretty hard to say they are "wrong"
I think its the Knights first loss when leading going into the 3rd and tying a game with the goalie pulled is somewhat unlikely.

Love seeing the success for the former Flames, but having them involved in nearly all the key plays and obviously the GWG last night is a bit of a dagger to the ol' heart. Hope they win it all

Treliving could have Tkachuk and/or Eichel. One of them may be the Conn Smyth winner this year.
He ended up with Huberdeau and Kadri.
Good luck Toronto

That's a pretty good chance of seeing the Cup awarded at a game. Every one I've ever been to has been 0%.

I have no evidence for this, but Pietrangelo seems to control the game far more than Ekblad.

He has been remarkably engaged, I thought he was washed up but he seems to have revitalized himself in Vegas.

Even when his take is good which is seldom.... that voice... my god.
The Canuck stain never wears off I guess. Even into retirement like Luongo.
