Not a fan of Huska and wouldn’t be pleased if he’s the guy. Certainly better candidates available. After the disastrous season we had I don’t think any of the guys who were part of the coaching staff should be back. Love seems like the logical choice and he would be my guy. Guess we will see how this plays out but not the insider news I was hoping to hear.

Guessing if he’s the guy, it’s a money thing.

Like Gulutzan, he’s the type of guy you see at coaching conferences all summer dropping all the key buzz words and getting hailed for being progressive new style coach while having a very underwhelming level of success.

			Huska? Lmfao
As expected though, they are not going to spend money on a real coach

Why do you post here? Your takes are always negative, no matter what the team does

I’m guessing a factor in hiring Huska is his connection with future Flames AGM/Coach Jarome Iginla.

Do yourself a favour.

Make a chart.

Love in one column & Huska in the other

Now document actual evidence or personal experience you have with either individual.

Then… document “your feelings” or “your opinion”.

Maybe realizing you have minimal knowledge about either individual will make you feel better.

I’m guessing you have no idea how to evaluate hiring a coach.

I won’t pretend to know what makes any of these guys the right choice for us, and I’m guessing most of you should be in the same boat as me. Yet most act like you know better than the GM who just spent a decade learning the organization from the inside out.
Maybe wait and see what happens?

Ryan was the coach of the Kelowna Rockets and played a prominent role developing Shea Weber and Duncan Keith.
I don’t know if he’s a good HC, but I do think he knows a thing or two about getting the most out of defense men.

Developed quite a few prospects in Stockton during his 3 years as well. Hathaway, Lomberg, Jankowski, Mangiapane, Kylington, Andersson, Dube.
