It's conceivable. This is a high-profile series, the best v best scenario, two American-market teams, and having a bush-league looking slug-fest, all the after-the-whistle antics, etc, it's just.... not a good look.

Play hockey. Display the game. So yeah, I can see the refs thinking or being instructed about "let's control this".

I’m pro-Vegas. But this is a one goal game. Panthers are being outskated at the moment but they just need one chance to put it in and it’s a different game.

Example: Vegas just below a 3 on 2 and almost got scored on as a result.

Didn't watch the second game after the first period but this one has been very lopsided. IMO The Panthers lost their mojo after Bob was playing very average in the first two games and that reflects on their play heavily (seen this many times before). They're just not the same team when Bob doesn't play like a 10 million dollar goalie like he's being paid to be.

Everything can happen of course but I just don't see it at this point. They have no confidence.

Once a series is kind of over I just pray that it ends with Cup winner on home ice. Nothing more boring and deflating than watching a team celebrate in front of an empty arena.
