Didn’t see any toe pick. I think he saw the hit coming at the very last second and had no option but to move his head out of the way from the way he skates bent over.

It's pretty obvious Chucky got the 10 for something that happened in the scrum, not the hit.

As much as I dislike Tkachuk, Eichel messed up royally there. Good thing I like neither. Eichel literally was pissed at his draft he wasn't drafted ahead of McDavid. He actually thought he was better. The ego on him.

Watch it in slow motion.

Obvious toe pick. He was lucky that he was able to untangle his legs.

Refs had it pretty much broken up and Tkachuk went back at Pietrangelo who was tied up with another player (and a linesman). I think it was right there he got the 10 - for keeping the thing going.

It was really clear on the replay. The US coverage nailed it.

I wish CBC put up the over/under odds at Bennett or Tkachuk getting roughing or interference penalties the rest of the game. A virtual guarantee we'll see a stupid penalty coming from one, if not both.

What's the argument about anyway? Tkachuk laid a big clean hit, Eichel left, and everyone else on the ice was fighting. Even penalties and no PP.

10 minutes of Tkachuk was going to save this game for Florida? We saw how the first 38 minutes of it went.

Yeah, and Barbashev also off for 2+10 and he’s been the more dangerous player tonight (offensively anyway).

Yeah, I want to crap on Chucky as much as the next guy but that hit looked clean as day to me.

Maybe because he hopped off the bench and went at Eichel like a bullet? But thats not a penalty.

Refs are a joke.

If these were the Flames in the Finals I would be going nuts.

That sort of hit can have an impact on games/series. I don't think Tkachuk did anything as impactful as THAT hit while he struggled here in the playoffs.

I don't envision some sort of Cory Sarich-hit rebound here tonight, but it was Tkachuk trying to push back.

All that said...so far this series looks painful for the Panthers. Don't seem to be able to keep up/execute.
It's not the hit.

It's his insistence on being in the middle of every scrum. Last game and this game. Last game the extra punches to Hague. Today he tries to get to Pietrangelo from behind after the ref had already pulled him away. That's why he got the 10 tonight and was kicked out last game.

He was picking his spots better round 1-3, but once the puck stop going in he overcompensates. It's funny because he's stayed away from it most of the time the last two regular seasons too and he's been elite.

I don't think they are going to intimidate these Knights physically like maybe they did some other teams.

He didn’t get a penalty for the hit, methinks

Looks like Eichel is back. Probably just got his bell rung.
