I sort of hope it isn’t a woman’s team spin-off, it would be akin to the last season on scrubs where they tried to put a bunch of new actors in sprinkled with the older cast for posterities sake and it really just didn’t work at all.
I am a big fan of leaving some juice left in the show rather than trying to get the last bit of humour or money. Arrested Development is another great example, three amazing seasons and then whatever Netflix tried to do and failed at. I understand the desire for more but I would hate for it to Spiderman 3 the first seasons where it just features the characters in increasingly wacky situations with intraoffice romances and crazy antics. The show wasn’t about Ted Lasso but his character was the catalyst and the glue.
As evidenced by his suggested title change for the book. Such a brilliant scene (scene, for lack of a better word. Just a close up on a note, really).
It was the couple Rebecca ran into in the restaurant earlier in the season.
Rebecca had gone on a date with the man in the past. The woman was the one who said, "####e in nining armour", making Rebecca start to think the psychic might have actually been for real.
This guy from season 2...

Right! Yes! Thanks. Good catch.

It's like that last part of the roller coaster, you know it's not going to be as exciting as the loops and drops, but you'll have a smile on your face none-the-less as you reflect on the ride and coast to the end.
That’s some diamond dogs quality words right there, Fuzz. Awoooo.

Seriously though, great episode, great ending. I'm glad they ended it when the show was still great instead of dragging it on as so many shows have done till it needs to be taken behind the shed and put down.
I was a bit confused though, he didn't go back to his wife did he? Or are they just showing that they have a working relationship focused on the son?
Now please no spin offs, please no reboots. Let a masterpiece lie where it lies and we can re watch it any time nostalgia hits.

I rarely rewatch anything, however with shows in this format, it's fairly easy to do.
Highly recommended. Almost enjoying it more the second time around. I remember being slightly underwhelmed with the second season, considering how good the first was. On a rewatch, the 2nd season is really under appreciated for some great episodes.
Plus being able to link all of the Easter eggs and call backs is much easier on a binge rewatch.
My 6-year old daughter rode her bike for the first time yesterday without training wheels. She was excited, I was excited, and it took all my restraint to not yell out "Lets go find a ####ing windmill!"

Just finished it, what a show. The finale was fine. But the penultimate episode was just incredible, one of my favorite episodes of TV ever.
I immediately cringed when they intro a new character at that late stage, but the payoff scene with Ted and his Mother was just a thing of beauty.
So glad they ended it right where they did and I hope more shows take that approach. If there is some kind of spinoff not sure I’d watch it, I’d rather keep my memory right where it is.
