The guy shows attitude getting yanked off the mound, how do you think he’ll handle being sent down for stint?
(Actually asking, I don’t know the correct method to help his game, and curious for other’s takes)

Unfortunately I don't think it's that simple. As a manager you have to give your pitchers the latitude to work through their struggles, especially if you have a track record like Alek's. If every player on the team knew that a period of struggling meant you were going to sent to AAA it would not be a very happy place to be.

It worked for Halladay. Sending him down takes a lot of pressure off. Sending him to the mound every 5 days in the big leagues isn't helping him. Or the team.

Yep it did work for Halladay. I’m not saying it’s not an option to use eventually. I just think it actually shows the opposite of what you’re indicating. You’re saying they’re hurting him mentally whereas it seems to me they’re in fact trying to stick with the big guy, show him they believe in his ability to sort it out, and give him every opportunity to figure this out in the MLB.

Like I said yesterday, kiddie pools have more depth then the Jays starting pitching. I don't think its showing confidence in him, it's the lack of a replacement.

Do you think they'll send him down when Ryu comes back?

Gausman is soooo good.
Wish we had another starter or two that good.

I hate to say it but Manoah’s ego is probably eating away at him right now. While it’s fun to see him cuss out the other team like Stroman used to, when times are rough this kills confidence. I think he should be sent down, learn to just pitch without the attitude and come back as a better person. You don’t need attitude to be successful. Being more even is boring but helps during the rough times where things don’t go your way.

****, I read your first couple words and thought the Jays got rid of that loser, lol. Hopefully they still do. I don't want to cheer for a team with someone like that showing public displays of intolerance towards human beings.
I mean how hard is it to be a kind person? Like ****.

That was really nice hearing Rogers Stadium boo him harder than a home stadium even boos a hated rival player. Really proud of that Toronto crowd letting their voices be heard on an intolerant bigot, even if he's pitching for our team.

He reposted a video of one of those people who want to boycott Target due to their Pride clothing line, who specifically called Pride as Demonic and evil.
So it wasn't the simple "I'm not for pride because of my beliefs" it was the whole equate LGBTQ people/allies as satanic, as is popular this year

Just absurd evil stuff against a marginalized segment of our population. Stuff that the right side of the political spectrum tends to hand wave away at best or embrace at worst.

Man, vladdy is an absolute shell these days. Just lazily and blindly swings at every pitch that comes in.
