Saw a tweet that Gallant was too expensive. Seravelli’s money was on Love.

A lot of people want Tanguay, but I don't see anything on his resume (other than his years as an NHL player) that would make him qualified to run the bench, at least not yet. I'm not convinced St.Louis was ready either.

Never mind that they are still paying Sutter $4 million, the standard coaches contract length is 3 years, but Gallant is likely only going to last 2 years.

How can they be so delusional? The + is on the wrong side.
Pesce for Nylander makes more sense.

I suspect it'll either be Mitch or Savard.

I know, I wish they had rational trade proposals like Flames fans on CP.

Slavin is the last guy they would trade.
Only 2 dmen are under contract beyond next season. He is one of them, 38 YO Burns being the other.
Oh...and he is their most complete dman among a group of great ones.

Isn’t Carolina the team that always has about 3-4 top 2 Dmen always in the AHL?

The Colby Colvin guy held Frank's feet to the fire there with logic and reason and Frank didn't like it.

Nashville was always "that" team when it came to high end D prospects.
That being said...i have little knowledgr of the Canes farm system. Maybe they are loaded with em?

Who's Colby Colvin? Believable? Someone like any of us who could just type that up on Microsoft Word?

Ever since Treliving was rumored to be in on the Leafs GM vacancy I've been predicting Vladar to Toronto.
No GM will place higher value on him and he will no doubt be made available when Wolf forces himself into the conversation.

They have two very good d prospects, one in college (Morrow) and the other in the KHL (Nikishin), ranked by Scott Wheeler as the 39th and 38th best drafted prospects in the league.
But regardless, there’s zero chance they move Slavin.

I don't have much reason for it, but I feel like hiring somebody like Savard is the kind of bold move this organization needs behind the bench. And I'm saying this as somebody who is afraid to lose Love and Huska.
Just a gut feeling that it would be the right move. Nothing more.

The info today is no good. Sorry for keeping everyone in suspense.
It was around a coach(s).
It's Love at first sight.

Nikishin will step into a top 4 role as soon as he comes over. Might be the best dmen outside North America
That being said i think he’s signed over there for a few years
