Edit: On second thought, I'll keep personal conversations with identifiable people out of here. Suffice it to say that I find the rumors extremely dubious.

Of course Yoho's heard rumours, he hangs out on the most dishonest places on the internet. Probably has a Castro/Trudeau T-shirt, too(you can't deny the timing/similarities!). And now PP has brought this trash into the HoC. He should be sanctioned and booted for his insinuations, unless he is showing up with receipts. Despicable ####.

When it ends up being true like most of the conspiracy theories have, make sure you still defend him.
You may not want to perpetuate rumours that aren't substantiated, particularly with the type of accusation you seem to be lobbing here. Posting this kind of stuff without evidential proof is incredibly dangerous at worst, and extremely careless at best.
You’ve heard the same rumours do you think everyone ohh and ahhed in the House of Commons for no reason?
Lol I don't slavishly adhere to someone because they're on "my team" like.. some..
If there's evidence, then they should provide it. You of course ignore the fact that there probably isn't a single poster here that would be unhappy if JT had to step down and was replaced. That you ignore that shows your true motivations.
If there's evidence I'd be the first to say they should be held responsible for their actions. Until then it just makes PP look like a ultra right wing troll.
You on the other hand seem to be fine with accusations based on nothing, imagine that.
EDIT: "I’ve heard rumours", of course to Yoho that completely justifies making accusations.
Yoho's whole schtick just doesn't make any sense. If you want everyone in here to agree with you that the Liberal leadership are crooks, why bandy about conspiratorial nonsense? There are so many clips like this that make them look terrible:
Now, I'm pretty sure the clean fuel standard thing isn't some sneaky new tax like Pierre is making it out to be, and has actually been in the Liberal platform since before the last election (someone feel free to correct me). But the whole "I'm just going to ignore your very straightforward question about the cost, and hey, remember Joe the Plumber from like 15 years ago, well now we're back with Jeff the electrician" just comes across as so purely weapons-grade unlikeable that I don't understand why the CPC doesn't use this stuff in more of their ads.
Ultimately everyone's going to get to know PP and find out he's a smug jerk - the only way to deal with that is to make it clear that everyone here is a smug jerk. There are no non-jerks to be had at the upper echelons of either party.

"When it ends up being true" just reveals the "just wait until there's evidence to support my currently held but unsupported beliefs" mindset that plagues humanity.
If the evidence never comes out well that just supports my belief on how powerful and corrupt they are!

Fair enough but you have to admit getting anything concrete like a cbc article on it would be next to impossible.
No dig I was being straight forward it only seems like a cbc article is the gold standard of proof.
That's a dig as obviously there's no such thing as a "gold standard" and no one has claimed it is. If you feel that way then maybe that's rooted in black and white them or us thinking... In reality there's only a scale of reliability of media outlets and a level of veracity for individual articles.

Your personal incredulity doesn't really factor into things. Lack of evidence supports both "nothing happened" and "there's a massive coverup by the powerful", picking one over the other goes back to putting the beliefs cart before the support horse.

There's random articles on the Internet for EVERYTHING. Beliefs don't have to be a true/false proposition. I can completely believe 10% there's a chance that something is true, act according to the 90%, but still be open to changing those percentages if things change in the future. I don't have to pick the "right belief" now and forever.
