I'm actually of the opinion that the UCP is internally having a boatload of fun testing how much terrible #### they can say in public / get away with, and then see how many people will still eat out of their hand. It's probably a game at this point to them, and the scores / betting lines are now running high.

All good brother! Don't worry about it. Now - about that Trudeau quote, can you post that? I'd like to share it with others too (#### Trudeau amirite??), I just need you to share it with us first.

I am amazed that some people in here are seemingly more offended with being called a bigot than they are offended by supporting bigots? Honestly, if I've offended you so much by calling you a bigot then why the hell did you vote for people who you willingly admit are bigots? It's totally bereft of thought. Don't get mad at me for pointing at the people you support and labelling them the same as you. You made the choice yourself.

I don’t think I have ever got as much entertainment out of this forum as I have the past 18 hours.

This is epic.

Is that a link to the Trudeau quote? I can't seem to click on anything. Let me know if you need formatting assistance.

Reading an internet forum is "epic"

it seems like a sad life you have lead, I'm not sure you know what "epic" is.

Cognitive dissonance is a bitch. They just support the economics, not the other stuff lol

Very stark differences here versus outside the forum. I understand the concerns of those here. Health care, education and environment are important to me as well.

Having said that I work in commercial banking and have a number of friends that are small business owners who were terrified of an NDP win. I’m not talking the suncors of the works but the SME segment.

I am far from an analytics expert, but the “eye test” of what I saw over the last month lines up with results.

Fact of the matter is I don’t like Smith or Notley terribly much, and both options would benefit from a strong centrist party, but after being in Alberta my entire life have come to realize politics in this province is one of extremes.

There’s so much bigotry in the world now days, and this thread. Too much. There’s the traditional racist, sexual preference and gender identity bigotry. But there’s also east/west bigotry, urban/rural bigotry, young/old bigotry. My personal bigotry is over partisan fanatics of any type. If partisan dogma says blue is green, then so help me blue is green and to say blue is blue are fighting words. I’m extremely intolerant of that kind of stuff, and bigotry is basically that … intolerance.

While he doesn't 'flat out' state "I hate Alberta" the quote "Canada isn't doing well right now because it's Albertans who control our community and socio-democratic agenda. It doesn't work," is pretty damning. However im not here to argue or fight on side or the other just quickly found a link and posted it.

One thing that's hit me today is that these results - conservatives culled from all Edmonton and a lot of Calgary leaves very few moderate voices in that caucus. It's a very rural based Wildrose. Who's the most moderate UCPer now, McIver? Sheesh.

It's just going to be a lot of greivance with Ottawa, ill thought through social policy, and weird ideological experiments in our public school system. But low taxes (and more royalty reliance) weeeeee!

Definitely appreciate the effort, and thank you for posting a link. It still doesn't enough support the other poster's claim though (in which he has conveniently, of course, ran away from).

You should attempt to understand the lines themselves. That would solve a lot of your issues. The between the lines is blank space.
