Yikes, hope he didn't fall for the UCP "Announcing" all the deerfoot improvements that have been in the works for years and still aren't funded

This isn't getting upset about a hockey game. This is real stuff.
I have no family doctor right now because mine is leaving the province because of the government.
That's real stuff.
So yeah people are upset.
I think the level of decorum took a nose dive right off the bat when the NDP started losing. Telling people their UCP votes and views mean their Abhorrent, Stupid and Anti Canadian is over the top even if your worried.

Now the other side is flipping the bird

Predictable

I think it started before that. Maybe around the time the leader of the UCP compared people who got vaccinated to Nazis? Hard to tell when it really went downhill though.

You absolutely nailed it. The vitriol being spewed towards anybody that voted UCP yesterday was next level and disgraceful.

Yoho, zamler, and other UCP voters - how do you now go about fixing healthcare in this province? How do you convince the current (depleted) number of qualified and experienced doctors to stay? Continuing to be combative simply won't work; there is lots of discussion behind the scenes right now of doctors going to other provinces, even moreso now that the election is over. How do you suggest we fix this?

Without oil and gas making this province piles of cash, you have no money to pay for healthcare. What a conundrum.

This iteration of blue and certainly the orange are not that.
Can you explain what the center party is and what it needs to stand for?

What policies would the center party have? What specifically would they need to do in order to win that vote?

My thoughts:

I am a UCP supporter, but was generally pleased to see the NDP earn some additional seats. From my perspective, the UCP needs a wake up call and some new voices in the legislature is welcomed. I disagree with many of the social positions of the UCP, but support their fiscal plan and emphasis on business.

Admittedly I don't fully understand how each party intends to improve our healthcare system, but in my line of work, I speak with a large share of doctors, all of whom have very differing opinions on what leadership is best for them. I find that interesting.

Last, I appreciate all those who voted and I emphasize and understand why many peopled voted NDP. Specifically speaking to this thread, I don't appreciate being called an "idiot" or "stupid" or "bigot" for voting UCP. Those kinds of comments just devalue an otherwise valid argument you are probably cable of making in support of your party.
