Switch over to the CBC, Janet Brown is taking about how polling under represents conservatives.
They’ve done excellent coverage tonight aside from the hilarious hour of single vote leads

NDP trailing by not much in 10 Calgary ridings…pretty sure 8 are very close and 2 are a few hundred votes.
I think it’s plausible NDP gets to 42. 44 possible, but not looking likely at the moment

When it comes to reporting the issues with the count they are 45 minutes to an hour behind.

Wonder how much the tabulator issue is delaying that one...

4408/7631 votes from advanced so far
unreported Canmore & Cascade Shops
reported Priddis/Bragg Creek & Exshaw/Spring Bank.
I'm guessing the Calgary area foothills swing way further right than the mountains.
Probably a big enough margin to make the current gap meaningless, we have to wait for more.

I think people will generally vote for economic issues and unfortunately during the NDP reign the economic situation wasn't good. I am not saying they are 100% responsible or anything, it's just a fact.
When the times get hard is when people get angry and concerned. Messaging needs to be different.
The NDP is is campaigning very very different this time than previously, much to their credit.

Which is good, but he’s actually been a breath of fresh air as health minister (jumping over a very low bar set by Shandro). No guarantee he’d keep that position, but if we are stuck with a UCP majority Copping might be the only thing that steers the bus into a swamp instead of off a cliff into a TNT factory

Yeah, I count 9 that are in play, and all would have to flip for UCP to lose. So I think it’s safe to call it.

I’m still guessing this is very close, with the winning party having 45-46 seats.
