Where's your limit? 10%? 25%? 50%? 99%?

Yes, advanced results should come out first. So don't be surprised if the NDP is leading like 55-32 at the beginning since we assume advanced voters are progressive. If they're not leading big at 8:05, it's over.

You should spend some time on remedial reading comprehension. Nowhere did I say fully. Do I need to order some concrete to keep the goal posts in place?

I would assume advanced voters are motivated conservative supporters, and a large number of seniors / retired people. This happened in the 2010 municipal election, and then Nenshi pulled away when the younger demographic got off of work and voted the day of, literally right before polls closed.

The fear is that you have to work 40 hours / week, and make less than $50,000 annual household, and drive to the 3rd closest hospital to access public care, just like America.

Or alternatively re-mortgage your house just to pay for a hospital visit, or we can all be handcuffed to our jobs because our employers are picking up a $6000/ann tab on that healthcare bill.
Completely irrational fears.

Count me as a troglodyte that voted for the UCP. I think Smith is a buffoon, that needs to keep her yap shut, especially during her stream of consciousness moments, but I believe the party will dispose of her in due time. In fact I'm sure of it.

The bottom line is, I hold conservative values, and I'm voting for that ideology, not an individual.

Should the democratic process put the NDP in power, so be it. That's the will of the people and I'll accept it. I'm not going to move to Texas. I'm not gonna side eye my NDP supporting neighbour, insult him, or question his intelligence. I'll still lend him my ladder to put up his Christmas lights, wave to him in the morning and let his kid play with my Daschund.

We are allowed to have different opinions and values, without painting each other as human feces or psychopathic animals for having different values and ideologies. Something many people on this board really need to learn, on both sides.

Younger people work? I thought we just lived off government handouts?

I ducked out of the office this morning to go vote and got stuck behind a lineup of 2 dozen grey hairs gleefully queued up to vote. Where do all these boomers come from?!? Every election I expect the herd to thin out and every election I'm shocked at how many come out of the woodwork. If playing video games has taught me anything it's that these people must be bots.

What ideology of the united Conservative Party do you support as opposed to the ndp, can you elaborate a bit on that? What does the ucp offer you that the andp does not

Tell me you've never been to Texas, without telling me you've never been to Texas.

Anyway, if that's all you can take away from a very neutral, rational statement, it just proves my point.

I wish your political party of choice, the best of luck. I think this could go either way.

This really is the dumbest justification floating around right now. Who will they replace her with? The party has been taken over by TBA loons, and it will only get loonier. Seriously, who is left in the party to lend a steady hand? ####, this pisses me off, actually.

What a dumb decision. If you had reasonable reasons for this, I might find one to accept(no one has yet provided one yet, so I'm not holding my breath).

No what I got from what you posted is you voted for her because you think she will be tossed. You said she is a deplorable but voted for her anyways.

How is that a rational reason?

Is that what you were doing? It's become impossible to know when people are serious or not maybe it's my fault (no sarcasm).

Just added +1 for the NDP in the contested Strathcona region. Hopefully we can flip orange!

Alberta needs to maintain Canadian values and stop trying to be Florida or Texas junior. It's embarrassing.Alberta is an amazing place and should be a leader for those looking for a centrist government.

Being duped by the far right populism going around will definitely lower the opinion of my neighbors.

I mean unless you're a high level exec for a billion dollar company who's in line to get some corporate handouts or welfare, the UCP has nothing to offer you. In fact, it will be your money going to these corporations and shareholders. It will be your healthcare wait times that increase as the two tier system emerges. It will be your children who are crammed into oversized classrooms. It will be your company who loses high value members as provincial brain drain continues. It will be our province that misses out as we stomp our feet and hold our breath in Ottawa instead of taking a seat.

But hey, as long there are no mask mandates amirite?
