Election day counting is fast. Each 2 to 3 people are responsible for counting one box of maybe 500 votes? Takes like an hour.

If a blue or white dot goes orange, that's a gain. The NDP need 21 gains, while holding onto their 23 (which they should)

This election is a statistical tie so every vote matters.
We can have four more years of UCP corruption and mismanagement, or we can let a seasoned leader take the helm. In policy, the parties are similar — but in practice they couldn’t be more different. Vote for the party that cares about our current reality, not the one trying to take us back to 1960.
If anyone here needs help getting to the polls, DM me.

I'm rooting for my riding to go NDP, but the UCP to eek out a 3-4 seat majority.
I'm traditionally a progressive conservative who wants to see the power shift away from the rural conservatives and into the hands of the centrist tories.
Basically, let's put a little orange back in our blue like the good old days.

No offense, but that seems pretty naive. If the UCP eek out a 3-4 seat majority rural AB and Take Back Alberta will have the power and they will double down and stay far right.
If you want them to move back to the centre, time in the wilderness and splintering back to two parties is the only way that happens IMO.

Yup, might be naive. The idealist in me likes to think that the 3-4 most centrist moderate UCP'ers would hold the hammer though.
