Yep. It helps reduce the forearm pain but I still get the pain at the elbow where the tendons join.

Mine is pretty painful but I imagine you know when you tear it? I should probably get it looked at.

For me it was probably playing hockey although I did not realize it at the time. Just some pain in my arm when gripping my stick otherwise nothing. What pushed it over the edge was scrolling with my computer mouse at work, and a poor ergonomic setup where my arm was not in a comfortable position at my work station. Oh yeah, and apparently a gradual weakening of the tendon as the years have gone by (getting old..... )

I got that 2 years ago and had to quit playing tennis. You're right, it is quite painful. Doctor just said I had to let it heal and to not do anything that would reaggravate the injury. Takes months to heal.

I ended up wearing a tennis elbow strap to minimize the pain.

The cheapness and fragility of USB cables is so annoying. I have one inside my console for OTA CarPlay, and somehow that cord is wrecked. The audio cuts in and out, which is the real gear grinder. But how can that happen? It’s completely sheltered!

Anyone have an USB options that are basically indestructible? There’s got to be a better way than what I’m doing.

Is it being bent when sitting there or unplugged weirdly?

I started getting nylon corded ones from Amazon, which usually have a little bit more rubber reinforcement near the ends, and I don’t think I’ve actually had to replace any of them.

No, it’s in the console with only an old, also not working usb cable for company. There’s nothing else there and I can’t figure out why it would constantly disconnect.

Having two teenage boys I'm always running around trying to find cables and typically a bunch are in my kids rooms in various conditions with the ends fraying at the connector or straight up not working. Some of the Amazon cables are hit and miss for quality as I've bought some that were supposed to be rugged but were anything but but I'm not sure if that's more due to my boys being animals as I've not had any issues in general in cables I keep in my car that don't get used by other members of the household.

My braided Aukey ones have been the best, by far.

Some people are just brutal on their equipment, particularly cables and are completely aghast, stunned, and insulted when you try to show them what NOT to do and it's exactly what they do all the time. Key things being repeated harsh bends, pulling the cables to unplug, fidgetting with the cables (like repeatedly wrapping around fingers). I swear I have to buy "some people" new cables monthly.

90 degree cables help a bit and a longer cable reduces yanking which helps to reduce damage and fray too.

Honestly speaking, just treat the damn things as 8-14 month disposal or transition them to wireless charging options. I transitioned my wife to wireless charging. I keep occasionally forgetting and getting annoyed that a different perfectly good cable becomes crimped or damaged after a few uses.

I seem to be able to keep my cables for a long time, but the wife and kids go through them regularly.

Amazon bulk packs for the win.

I've just started buying lots of the cheap ones and replace them. After the last buy was $20 to hopefully have something good and it still didn't last any longer than the few dollar ones I'm going disposable. F the environment. It's all China's fault.

This is 100% a user issue and has nothing to do with cables. You either treat your cables right and never have any issues, or you treat your cables bad and then complain about how none of them never last. There is no in-between person that has one or two cables fail but the rest are okay.

That logic is not allowed... if I want to stay out of the dog house. It's a ####ty cable issue.

DoubleF seeing charging cable with loose knot held by wife...

Haha, well in my case it’s just terrible quality. I never touch the cable and it just stays there attached for however long it lasts.

I think it’s more do you use your phone while it is charging. I have one going on at least 5 years that sits in one spot where I never use it or move when plugged in.

I would like them to design a robust product that doesn’t fail due to pulling and bending.

As a nighthawk who takes a bit to shake out the cobwebs on a weekend morning, never respond to a morning person's text before 10 AM or they'll almost guaranteed call you right after, because those types are bouncing off the walls with energy in the mornings. I've got multiple people in my life who do this to me regularly.

People don't want to shoot the poop with you at 8 AM on a Sunday, call at a normal time you nerds. Or I'm gonna start calling you at 1 AM when I'm in my element and I know you don't put your phone on silent overnight.
