I did all of this with the nerfed necromancer twice. Never had an issue.
I know some people were getting griefed but in my 2 attempts we beat Ashava with 2 seconds remaining and 2 minutes remaining. I am really looking forward to Diablo 4 more so than any other game, mainly due to the fact my buddies and I really enjoy the action RPG genre and Blizzard's storytelling ability.
I am just swimming in games right now. Within the past 2 weeks I have picked up Resident Evil 4, Jedi Survivor, Tears of the Kingdom, and PSVR2. Not enough time to play everything and yet I still find myself going back to my steam deck to continue playing through the entire Tony Hawk series. Those games are so damn fun
After playing through it a bit I'm actually very displeased with the major update to my game. They completely broke the economy of the game and all the mechanics that they added with players moving on the map to go to Hunts and tournaments and weddings has completely bogged down the game's performance

Is it a DLC you can temporarily turn off until they patch things? I know Paradox has always had issues with a lot of their content on day 1.
I thought the showcase was ok...was certainly hoping for a bit more after a year and a half of nothing...I'd give it a 7
I’m actually really disappointed. No Twisted Metal, no Factions, almost nothing of value for PSVR2. After almost two years off I really thought they were going to blow the doors off

right... yeah, for me it was Metal Gear that saved it from a 5, so I can understand people being disappointed.
why the hell is LoU Factions taking so long to show something? At this rate its the next Star Citizen...
I love playstation, but man, they are really taking their base for granted imo...

The Haven and Firewalk games were basically just logos as well. No word from Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Bluepoint, Bend, etc.
Spider-Man looked awesome, but we already knew that.
I thought they really needed a banger for PSVR. Either Half Life: Alyx or something from a first party. The only new game was another mindless zombie game.

I thought it was pretty underwhelming too. There was maybe 3 or 4 titles that interested me and AC: Mirage I will play on PC. I'll probably end up playing Alan Wake 2 on PS5 because of it being an Epic exclusive but that will be when it's deeply discounted.

i think there were some interesting 3rd party games: Alan Wake 2 (as I love Control) and Phantom Blade.
Pretty disappointing from a 1st party point of view for sure though. RE4 VR could be really good...but yeah, another non first party game.

Fair. I guess I meant the idea of a MGS 3 remake is awesome; whether they stick the landing is an unknown for sure...if they are simply remaking MSG 3, they have the whole blueprint, but hard to judge until gameplay is realeased

I have no doubt Alan Wake and RE 4 VR will be great, but these weren’t announcements. We already knew they were coming.
At the end of the day I just feel like we didn’t learn really anything at all about what all of Sony’s first party studios are up to. Which is disappointing since it’s been almost 2 years of silence.
Also legitimately concerned about the future of PSVR 2 now. I really thought for sure they would have something cool to show.
I'm definitely excited to hit Spider-man and with the symbiote? Awesome!
FF16 is gonna be big, gonna check out what they have going in Japan for it.
Talos 2 was a surprise, the first game was a great game but curious how they'll continue the story. Though I guess it's more a wrapper than anything else, kinda like The Witness.
EDIT: I also hope this "Project Q" turns into the Vita 2 lol. Bringing back Cayde is neat, makes losing Lance Reddick even tougher.
Pretty uninspiring presentation from Sony after a long wait. I have never been one to enjoy the FF games but will give 16 a try.
Spider-man will be a fun game with Venom, but nothing of the other "exclusives" (looks like most are coming to PC as well) jump out at me as something I am interested in.
Is Project Q in it's current form really just a Switch that requires you to be connected to the same WiFi your PS5 is on, to stream the games that are actually installed on the PS5 to the device? No streaming service support mentioned or did I miss this? I could see this being useful for someone with children or a family where you only have 1 TV and it is being used and you feel like playing a game. However this seems very underwhelming in this iteration of the handheld. But who doesn't have a dedicated gaming TV?
I'm super excited as IMO this is one of the greatest video games ever made. If it's handled like the RE4 remake it's going to be amazing.
It's already not being handled like RE4 Remake, which was developed in-house by Capcom's A-team. Konami is using Virtuous for this, which has only been a support and porting studio to this point. Plus I think MGS and Kojima go hand-on-hand -- unless you're literally just slapping new graphics on the exact same game, the only thing you can do is make it less of a Kojima game and likely worse in the process. You can tell even from that CGI trailer it's missing the feel of MGS3 already.
It's just a weird game to remake with none of the original team or it's original creator involved (who is the closest thing to an 'auteur' style game director that the industry has). I'd be more interested in that MGS1-3 remaster collection they announced, personally!
