The games themselves have been good (until the drubbing last night).

The series themselves though are now anti-climatic since the same team has come up on the winning side of each game.

Weird part is the NBA playoffs have kind of been the same with the 1 seed winning the west, and the 8 seed winning in the east.

Benn, who will have a hearing for cross-checking Mark Stone in the head/neck area, argued he only used his stick as a landing point against the Vegas Golden Knights captain.

“Obviously didn't want to take a five-minute penalty, but when the game happens fast, emotions are high," Benn said. "Obviously I would've liked to not fall on him, and I guess use my stick as the landing point."

There's clearly a moment where his squeaky hamster wheel of a brain pauses to decide what to do next, and he chooses to crosscheck Stone in the neck/jaw. Calling it a 'fall' is a ridiculous cop out not unexpected from the dirtbag Jamie Benn.

Did he seriously said "fall"? That was not a"fall", he looked at Stone for a second or two then went down and gave a hard cross check!

That's a pretty weak excuse for what was clearly done on purpose. He should get extra games for not owning up to what was an extremely poor behavior. That's the type of play that has no business in professional sports and IMO he should get 5 games minimum.
