What are the chances logging trucks/companies pay for "Conservation" passes? I hadn't really picked up on how Orwellian a name that is for it.

Went into this expecting a well thought out article.. then the author Travis Benson (with 11 followers) says vote NDP unless you like Nazis?

Sorry, but this helps prove that the extreme left is as scary as the extreme right.

Literally just today a twitter user followed by Danielle Smith herself posted that he's going to hunt down NDP supporters if the UCP loses the election, and you still find a way to "both sides, many sides" this? Really?

"People love what I have to say. They believe in it. They just don't like the word 'Nazi'. That's all." - Stormfront (Aya Cash), The Boys, Season 2 Episode 8.

It's a bit too insane how parody plops out truth.

What comments do you have on the other 15 points then while you were quickly scrolling through?

What I see is he was looking for a point to disagree with. And it took that long into the article to find it.

You could have just said you're going to vote for the UCP, all truth be damned.

If you read the twitter thread they are cutting Maclean creek in the next 3 years.

I don’t think the sawmill company is dumb enough to clear cut moose mountain trails. So I think it’s likely a decoy to show they are giving something back through consultations with the public to protect the rest of the forestry plan.

In general forestry is pretty easy. Leave 100m of trees between used areas and clear cuts and the majority won’t care.

Hopefully that means lots of younger people voting. If anything is gonna help push the NDP over the top, it'll be the 18-35 crowd.

And to further my point.. no I’m not. People can be so consumed by their own political beliefs that if someone questions or disagrees with them.. they are immediately vilified.

But thanks all for assuming that I didn’t fully read or understand the article. I agree with most of the points, have questions about a few and am offended by 1. I guess that makes me a UCP diehard to those who can’t contemplate meaningful debate and discussion.

What’s the cutoff to avoid the wrath? Does it have to be 16 of 16?

I don't know what the cut off is. But apparently the cutoff for labelling the Alberta NDP as "far left" is only one.

You have to think that high voter turnout is good for the NDP

At the voting station I attended I was the only person out of maybe 25 that looked under the age of 60.

No that’s called wishful thinking.
