Conroy seems very aware of just how much damage Sutter did to the outside perspective of this organization

Who knows what this team will do next season or what they will look like but it sure sounds like the players and fans will be having more fun. Thank god. I don't think I could have taken another Sutter season. Let's have fun again.

This has been a refreshing press conference so far, Conroy has always been able to talk but he genuinely sounds like he has gained some valuable experience and has the ability to succeed in this role.

It will depend on the coach...if Mitch Love is the next head coach of the Calgary Flames then I think the odds might be pretty good.

well that was brilliant. How can you not love this man?
Certainly said all the right things. Super excited for this offseason, in all honesty.

Definitely loved what I heard. Asset management, integrating youth into the line up, creativity offensively, structure. All great stuff.
I have full confidence in him.

I'm still a big Huberdeau fan, even though last year was a mess. I'm loving hearing Conroy talk about him. He's bang on. Last year sucked, forget about it, move on. New coach, new style, go out with some swagger and have fun. He's going to have a huge rebound season, especially if he doesn't spend so much time on a line with Kadri.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in

Conroy's vision for the team regarding the hard work stuff he talked about could be a tough conversation with ol' Kadri there.

Oh man. I'm sold.
IMO, there's going to be a purge at the draft. How they build out through the trades Craig is going to make will be fascinating. I'm excited. He knows what we want because he wants it.
His lamentation about the Gaudreau situation won me over full stop. If you're a pending FA, you new deadline to get something done is now the trade deadline. Figure it out. Frickin love that.

Not gonna lie. It felt kinda weird hearing a bunch of stuff in that press conference I agreed with. Is there a catch or something?

he is right about forgetting about last season
take the 2023 16th pick and move on...would you rather be a team that traded assets and lost in rounds one or two right now?
blessing in disguise really

Speculating on my part but if Lindy all of a sudden wants to stay and signs, Kadri will be gone . Can't have both. It's one or the other.

Taking a while to get to 5000

A lot of not so thinly veiled shots at Treliving and especially Sutter's handling of the team.
Loved hearing all of it.
