If LIV were smart they'd be offering Block $100 million to join, maybe he's the secret to outrating reruns of One Tree Hill.

That was an excellent weekend all in. Two great storylines, and excellent Sunday and excellent broadcast by ESPN.
The only downer was for us Canadians seeing Conners just blow it on Sunday with a +5.

Bet on Koepka so nice to see him pull it out!

No way they leave him off the Ryder cup team now.

Koepka so close to being halfway to the Grand Slam right now.

Only 2 active players (if you consider tiger active) have more major wins than Koepka. Pretty crazy.

He has the ability to elevate his game that Rory just seems to have lost.

I may be a little drunk, but I'm confused by this post. The grand slam is all four majors and Keopka has won two of them. Maybe a joke I'm missing?

I imagine Koepka ends up with between 6-8, still an outside shot at double digits because he is still only 33. If the injuries don't pop up again he's just too consistent at majors to not win a few more. He's finished top six or better in 15 of the last 24 majors.

Grand Slam is for the year, Career Slam is, well, you know. But he finished T2 at Augusta so if he didn't fold in the final round there he'd be halfway home to the Grand Slam.

Oh wow, I actually didn't know there was a distinction between career and year grand slams.

He could get to 6 this year. US Open less than a month away and I have no doubt he will be in contention.

Liv should be (probably are) shoveling him some bonus oil money. He's representing them very well this year.

I found it interesting that the organizers didn't have some strict standards for logos as a few of the Liv guys were wearing their team logos and one of them had a Liv umbrella on Saturday.

Not all that interesting at all, the PGA of America is not the PGA Tour. I imagine the only thing that could maybe get banned would be offensive content, although it would be legendary to see some tour pro rocking a Brazzers hat.

I think Koepka is giving them some credibility that some guys on that tour can still play and compete in the majors.

But he is the one guy who seems to want to distance himself from LIV in the majors. He's not wearing his team apparel like the others are.

He's done what he said he wanted to though. Wanted to play fewer events and really focus on winning the majors. Looks like he's accomplishing that goal do far. I expect the PGA tour will monitor this if he has a couple other good showings and continue to make a few more concessions to its top players to offer them a similar schedule.

DJ wore a TaylorMade hat, and a LIV shirt I thought.

Bryson was wearing his logo.

Keopka was outfitted in Nike gear, without LIV logos.

Gooch and Mickelson were wearing LIV gear.

I think the more likely answer is that each of the marquee players have negotiated clauses on what they can wear in Non-LIV events.

Most of the LIV guys lost their sponsorships which is why they are rocking LIV gear. If they were still contractually obligated to wear sponsors gear then they would be. DJ got dropped by RBC and adidas, but not TaylorMade, so he'll be wearing a TaylorMade hat until the contract is up, or until he gets dropped. With Nike they are only in apparel at this point, hence the hat and shirt for Koepka. Obviously Nike won't be ending anything with Koepka anytime soon, so he will probably be in Nike gear at every major until his contract is up.

For the record DJ was in his suite as well, so we obviously know who his connection is. But this should be LIV's #1 selling point: 100% blood concentration of coke = can't get suspended, unlike the PGA.

Was just coming in here to post about Koepka and the Panthers. Seeing him go crazy after the Tkachuk goal was awesome. I no longer dislike this guy.

Didn’t blink once during the video. Nose pretty red too.

Just gin and tonics I’m sure.
