I keep not wanting to watch Dune as I want to read the books, but whenever I sit down to read I always fall asleep, so I should just watch them. Or take more naps.
Watching part 1of Dune might give you the push to dive into the book. It's a wonderful book but it's also really dense.

I almost always watch the movie and then read the book (when I haven't already read the book).
Books are almost always better and more detailed, so you can watch and enjoy the movie without noticing the parts they left out. Then you can can read the book and love it the same.
It also helps keeping track of character names in books that have a large number of weirdly named characters.

New movie by Yorgos Lanthimos, one of my favourite current directors.
By far the most stylized movie he's done, but I'm sure it will be nuts and have the same black comedy elements with creepy emotionless dialogue as The Killing of a Sacred Deer and The Lobster.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Can't recall having ever played a Gran Turismo game. This ain't no Speed Racer, thats for certain.
It'll entertaining and I'll watch.
This was like alot of kid's my age (mid/late 30s) who played GT all the time, and dreamed of what it was like to drive a real car like that. We'd stay up all hours of the night perfecting the one car, only to get onto the next.
This is based off a true story too, which is absolutely insane.
