Just curious as to who has Table Hockey.

-Coleco from the 80's (shouldn't have thrown mine away..had the Flames too!)
-Stiga (winger goes goes behind the net)

Or some form of bubble hockey like are in the arcades (Super Chexx) or those now found at Sears, Canadian Tire.

My old boss had a collection of table hockey games. Including one from like the 1920s that only had two players - very strange. Not very fun but a neat collectible.

The best one he had in terms of playability was one called "Playmaker" which used a round marble - the action on that bad boy was just great.

He also purchased a Chexx one that was tons of fun. I dare say that if you play that thing as much as I did over the course of 2 years you get pretty darn good at it.

I had this:

and before that:

My dad still has this, box and all:

Was surfing, and look at some of these:

http://www.tablehockey.com./athletic.html

Wow...huge, but high quality peices of equipment.

I'd love to get a SuperChexx, but wayyy wayy to much $$...new or used, although they are indestructable.

I have an old Winnwell Pro Stars one from the 80's with the Habs and the Canucks in the black V jerseys. Pretty sweet. It's missing the puck though.

Heres a pic from that site.

Well I have a couple of the ColeCo ones. Both are the Stanley Cup product. Only one of them is in workable condition as the other one had products on top of it and the board is now not usable. the other one I was able to purchase for one dollar at a garage sale, the teams are the Toronto Maple Leafs (most with the holes through their bodies) and the Montreal Canadians (holes once again). I have it all cleaned up and it works really nice. Brings back some great memories.

I have one... the one where the players can move their sticks.

The guy who came up with and made Wayne Gretzky Hockey in the 1980's is a classmate of mine. He has regaled me with stories about it, including his employees who manufactured the game in China getting caught in the Tienamen Square uprisng by accident.

This guy also signed the franchise agreeement for the Edmonton Oilers along with Peter Pocklington and also knew Nelson Skalbania quite well.

I have this one.

The sticks are metal. It's a little light though so when you really get after it with a hard forecheck then you tend to lift up your end and that has a real effect on gameplay.

Anyone else have "Rocket Hockey" when you were a kid? I had the one endorsed by Wayne Gretzky later on in the 80s. The stickers came off though because somewhere along the line it needed a wash and those cheap stickers don't hold up to a little water I guess. It was a fun game.

I didn't have it but this loser kid down the road did. Dude smelled like peanut butter all the time so I didn't like to hang out with him, but since he had Rocket Hockey I would make the occasional trek down to his house.

My grandparents had the same table. That thing was amazing. I spent hours upon hours playing it, even if I was by myself. I think my aunt and uncle have it now. I had totally forgot about that game, so thanks for reminding me .

Did it come with Carl and Mama Lindros..one yelling at the refs, the other watching the coach (with a stopwatch on Eric) over the bench?

And Lindros' slot didn't come back past his own redline....and Brett's was always spinning around, headed nowhere.

uhmmmm...no, not that one. They were aiming more towards fun than accuracy, I guess.

I just now remember ROCKET HOCKEY...That is hilarious, I don't know when I stopped playing it or whatever happened to it.

I now want one of those bubble ones, or even full size table hockey games that are super sturdy. Any Idea how much they cost?
